About the BUH position
We are looking for an experienced Business Unit Head for a worldwilde company with focus on medical solutions.
The BU Will add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.
An excellent BUH has an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills with remarkable success in leading outstanding commercial teams, promoting talents, and delivering consistent business growth, market share expansion, revenue, and profit improvement.
The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.
The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
Holistic business leadership (Marketing & Commercial), overall strategic planning and execution, providing strategic direction and tactical support.
Business Unit Head responsibilities are:
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Conducting thorough market research. Track local economic, market, and industry trends and use appropriate information to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure.
- Ensuring that customer needs are being satisfied
- Creating techniques to attract prospective customers and keep the current ones.
- Associating with several teams such as sales and customer service
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other organizations
- Monitoring commercial performance
- P&L and budget management. Ensuring adequate resource allocation to deliver targets and ensure growth continuity with high contribution margins.
- Developing talent for succession planning and ensuring employee engagement.
Business Unit Head requirements are:
- Experience in the sales field
- Vast knowledge about market research and analysis
- Good implementation of strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- BA/BSc in Business,Marketing or a related field
- MA/MSc would be an asset
